Madhavi Swarup believes her real education in photography began when the celebrated lensman, S. Paul took her under his wings. She primarily works as a wild life, travel and architecture photographer. Her black and white photographs are particularly spectacular where she juxtaposes one image predominantly black with one that is serene and white in form and texture – conveying to the viewer the duality of our lives. She believes her photographs draw people as they are minimal, spontaneous and evoke questions.
