Binoy Varghese

The inspiration in Binoy Varghese’s works are derived from photography, cinema and digital media but his artistic expressions are the creations of his own mind. The protagonist in most of his paintings is often a young, innocent and playful girl or child despite being uprooted from her roots. The surrounding foliage helps soften the blow to make the foreign locale more acceptable and pleasing. Social issues are close to the artist’s heart and this is a recurrent theme in most of his bright and picturesque canvases.
