Nagesh Ghodke is well known for his paintings of village scenes and finds his muse in ever changing nature. His rural upbringing and culture has influenced his art and his works depict the beauty and aesthetics of village life whilst bringing to the fore the destruction of nature and rural existence. Nagesh captures the very soul of rural India with his colour palette of green, blue, yellow and red. He primarily uses acrylic as his medium to create abstract village scapes which are unique.
