Bibhu Nath’s art practice is inspired by the culture, natural heritage and socio -cultural activities of his village in Orissa. He has experimented and explored mediums and materials like ceramic, stone, paper pulp, chalk powder, synthetic resin adhesive and water colours. He attempts to raise environmental issues based on ideas from an Indian political and mythical perspective – by combining the four natural elements of water, land, forest and animal with his sculptural and painting skills to produce powerful art works.
