Arpita Singh

Arpita Singh’s paintings resonate womanhood, displaying an array of emotion. Her colouring is bold, her figures are dominating and her statements subtle but strong. The act of painting for her triggers a random coming together of ideas and associations, filled with life forms, objects and motifs, while engaging with cartography and text.
