Amiya Bhattacharya

Amiya Bhattacharya’s paintings exude deep emotions and sensitivity. He usually paints women and portrays them with a bare back and shoulders. Surrounding these figures are subjects like a half moon, butterflies, flowers and leaves, windows and trellises, staircases and arches – all a part of his simple past and a magical childhood.
