N. Ramachandran

N. Ramachandran uses a non-representational visual language in his art works, which allows the viewer to interpret it in his own language. Even though the content of his works are inspired by day to day living, his themes are based on the theory of probability and a unique idiom. Often he uses a grid pattern with minimalistic and conceptual overtones but creates a sense of rhythm. Ramachandran uses varied mediums and materials like different kinds of papers, photographs, daily objects as well as silver and metallic colours in his art works. This is a result of constant exploration and experimentation to reach the sub-conscious using colours, forms and textures.
