Shenoy’s passion for the vibrancy of cities and the brilliant forms and hues of nature reflect in his paintings. His dexterous use of colours, lines, light and textures form the crux of his stunning abstract cityscapes. While his primary choice of medium is oil, his fondness for watercolours made him experiment with the medium till he mastered the art of creating water colour-like lightness in his oil paintings. His style inimitably combines aspects of the traditional with the modern and is driven by a deep interest in spatial experimentation.
